Like drugs, there is resistance build-up when we consume food high in sugar and starch. It could be in a form of insulin resistance or we keep on consuming more and more of them and never be satiated.
Therefore if I treat sugar and starch as I treat any form of drug addiction, then I should NEVER take sugar ever again. Like for example, I treat nicotine as I treat heroin. They are poison. In this case, SUGAR IS POISON!
I can always unlearn sugar and bread and pastry and cookies and cakes and 3-in-1 coffee.
Henceforth, from now on my only source of starch is rice. We stop at that...

I can do it. I can beat sugar and starch. I beat nicotine in 18 days. Let see if I can beat sugar and starch in 14 days - until September 30th.
Then I focus on the running.

The result: we consume way too much added sugar. Adult men take in an average of 24 teaspoons of added sugar per day, according to the National Cancer Institute. That's equal to 384 calories.

Well here is the good news. Every day I N-SEEM and No SS is a winning day.
Today is definitely a winning day. I feel like a million-dollar. I can win this battle. If I can win over nicotine in 18 days, I should win my battle with sugar 21 days max.

Soon I will be saying goodbye to sugar and starch as I said goodbye to Nicorette. No more 3-in-1 coffee, banana cake, peanut butter sandwich, croissant, Jacob cream crackers, and pastries.
I got to win this fight. That is when I lose 30 kg and run 10 km/hour.
