1/9/20 ^^^The win goes to those who persist

Shucks...  I accidentally deleted the whole message.  I really hate it when that happens.

In summary, I will hold on to the Gold mindset for the next 10 years.  The moment of truth is 10 years from now.

As for the present, I got to get rid of Nicorette for the next 2 weeks.

Sun Tzu said when near act far and when far act near.

I need to make Els see that we are a team.  We are racing in the same race.

While doing that, I need to gain the mileage one step at a time:

  • Quit Nicorette
  • Complete Coursera
  • Develop the Mental Health and Positive Psychology Course
  • Lose 20 kg
  • Deliver 10 days of classes in a month
  • Exercise AHAD
  • Eat OMAD
  • Sleep Well
I have to think like a winner.  I have to rise above mediocrity and make things happen for myself.

------------------------

As it is, it will be Gold for the next 10 years unless you say it is otherwise.

Let's go for Gold...

To make sure I win Gold, I need to play a Gold game from now on.

#traxxfm It is a Gold game from here on; unless you decide you don't want to play. I'll put a Gold effort although winning Gold is your call really.

#traxxfm I am a specialist. I am only aiming for one Gold.

#traxxfm You know the story...

She played the song  I Do.

#traxxfm OK I'm glad we sorted that out. Now I can stay focus.

Once I put you and Els at a constant, then I can manage my other variables like right now, quitting Nicorette.

It's not just quitting Nicorette.  It is about managing food, sleep, and exercise.  It is also about sticking to the plan to abstain until 15/9/20.

I had done THREE days.  Now going all the way to 2 weeks.

#traxxfm Darling, I'll write to you tonight. Later hon...

Going for Gold

My darling Els,

Once we have definiteness of purpose in our lives, nothing else matters.  We will be thinking about our goals on a daily basis.  It is not the final destination that matters.  What counts is the little steps to get us there.

In my case, 2020 is the launching pad for the journey forward.  Many things need to happen for the journey to be successful.  As I told you in the previous postings, this is a long-distance run.  The race had been flagged and we are already making progress.

In other words, the race is on and we are game.

The thrill of a race is certainly similar.  First, there were jitters signifying that we are not entirely ready.  However, as our mind and body acclimatized to the surrounding, then our breathing becomes more consistent.  Pretty soon our focal point is nothing more than the rhythm of our breath going in and out.

I have many deliverables to focus on now that we had decided to go for Songkhla 2030.  While we are having the final goal as the backdrop, I need to be mindful of the milestones to reach there.

  • Quit Nicorette
  • Complete Coursera
  • Develop the Mental Health and Positive Psychology Course
  • Lose 20 kg
  • Deliver 10 days of classes in a month for the next 10 years
  • Write a book on wellness
  • Exercise an hour a day (AHAD)
  • Eat one meal a day (OMAD)
  • Sleep Well

Honey, this is my greatest adventure ever.  If I can do this, I am very certain I can be a Just Man  (An Nisa 4:3).  Not only that, but this also becomes my declaration of independence.

Nevertheless, a goal is a worthy ideal.  This particular goal is a worthwhile goal for me.  If you take it that we are already married as of 7/7/18, then all this is me fulfilling my role as a husband.

I am now in the execution mode.  Hence I'll keep the conversation short.

Love you always.

Sine Cera,

1/9/20

Honey, I wrote you an email. I'm not entirely in the right frame of mind. This is my 3rd day without Nicorette. Here is your lullaby tonight: youtube.com/watch?v=3aJvIF Don't ask me why, but it begs to be picked. Goodnight baby, I love you so much.
